Oct 27 Saturday Day Camp

Another beautiful Saturday camp as God continues to bless our camps with outstanding weather. Today children from the Aldine area attended Gospel Lakes along with the GA group from Champion Forest Baptist Church. A special thanks to volunteers from the Lanier, Huddleston, and Beck Sunday school classes, other Champion Forest youth volunteers, and a group from His Hill Bible School all the way from Central Texas!

Oct. 20, 2007 Day Camp

Another beautiful fall day in Texas as children from the south Houston area enjoyed all the activities at Gospel Lakes. Thanks to the CFBC youth and adult volunteers for helping to make this day possible. We couldn't do it without you!

Saturday Oct 13, 2007 Day Camp

The fall weather finally decided to pay a visit on a beautiful Saturday at Gospel Lakes. Over 200 children, and adult / youth volunteers attended camp today from the 5th Ward and other inner city areas of Houston. Special thanks to CFBC student and Sunday School class, along with volunteers from Conroe Bible Church.

Saturday October 6, 2007 Day Camp

Today we hosted our first camp for the Waco Housing Authority. Two charter buses brought a wonderful group of kids and adults from Waco to enjoy Gospel Lakes and a Sidewalk Sunday School presentation, just like the one utilized in the inner city of Houston. Everyone got to enjoy all the normal camp activies, and a fun filled presentation of the Gospel with games and prizes.

A heartfelt thanks to Morris and all the volunteers from Champion Forest Baptist and Tomball Bible Church, and to all the youth volunteers from the same churches. The rain held off and allowed a fantastic afternoon of fellowship.
