Summer Fun June 7, 2008

It was a camp that followed a somewhat different schedule. The group was small enough to go to each activity as one. To end, we had a story and Gospel presentation in the dining room. We had a fun day, and God's word was given to children and adults alike which also made it exciting!

May 17, 2008 Last Day of Camp!

What a fun spring this has been! God has graciously provided the means, helpers, guests, and great weather for every camp day this season. Each week we have seen Him move and work through this camp to reach the lost with the Gospel. Acts 16:31 says, "And they said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.'" Thank you to everyone for helping in this most noble and most important pursuit of showing Jesus to the world!

This ministry is very fun, enjoyable, and rewarding, but it is also very serious. The work done here is for eternity, the time spent here has an effect on eternity, and the results seen through God's grace and mercy at Gospel Lakes are adding to the faces we will see one day in Heaven! Praise God!

Great weather is not a thing to take lightly, especially when the alternative would mean postponing camp. God knows what Gospel Lakes needs to spread His word to the lost, and He will always provide it, whether it be willing hands to prepare and serve the meal, energetic people to play with and care for the children, or even sunshine instead of rain! Praise God!

Praise God we had such fun today! We saw Him move in so many ways and He allowed everything to run smoothly. To all the volunteers and all the people who came to visit us today, thank you for letting God use you in this ministry!
