Gospel Lakes Ranch has just wrapped up our busy summer of new adventures! With in these "new adventures", Gospel Lakes Ranch opened its doors this summer to an all new program of a 3 day/2 night camp experience for the inner-city children of Houston! These camps gave Gospel Lakes more time to develope relationships with these children and to help them better understand our amazing God. We were able to give these kids a break from the inner-city life and allow them the opportunity to spend 3 days enjoying our regular saturday activities like paddle boating, archery, BB's, horse back riding, and various sports, as well as new activities like large group games, camp fire and s'mores, movie night under the stars, and four chapel sessions! These kids were able to take their camp experience further than camp games and were able to connect with Jesus Christ in a new way. These kids were able to explain how Jesus changed their lives and what they wanted to do differently when they got home to better serve our Lord. This was an amazing summer! With such an awesome summer behind us we are excited for and are all geared up for Fall saturday day camps. Our fall day camps will commence on September 29th and will continue on saturdays through Novemeber 17th. We are excited to continue building relationships with these children and look forward to spending our Saturdays ministering to them... But we can't do it on our own! Gospel Lakes Ranch would love if you were able to spend a Saturday (or seven!) with us ministering to kids through face paint, sports, horses, paddel boats, and fishing. Our saturdays are high energy and tons of fun!
